The PrimalSurfboards.com Advantage
Customers who visit Primalsurfboards.com enjoy the advantage of increasing the selection of surfboards available for them to purchase, and at no extra cost. Most surfers are limited to the surfboard selection of their near-by local surfshops. Primalsurfboards.com is a way for them to choose from a bigger selection without having to drive long distances to other shops. The cost of shipping a board through Primalsurfboards.com is offset by not paying for sales tax out-of-state. Shipping for 6'3" and under shortboard is about equal to the amount of 7% sales tax on a $600 surfboard.
History
Primalsurfboards.com was launched in 2007 by Michael Laielli, but it all started in 2003 when the Laielli Family opened their first surf shop, Primal Surf. All four members, Mike Sr. Susan, Mike Jr., and Zack, we're and still are avid surfers who share a love for all kinds of surfboards. In 2004, Primal Surf picked up a brand that was new to the U.S. called JS Surfboards. As JS tractor logos began popping up in every surf mag imagineable, the demand starting growing. Already having started the surf shop website, psurf.com, Mike Jr. started keeping an online inventory for customers to browse and order online. Customers from all over the country began ordering boards. Primalsurfboards.com was created to take online surfboard retailing to the next level - Better pictures, lower shipping prices, safer shipment packing, more surfboards, and more accessories.
