Yep... I dropped the ball for a little while. I've been getting some requests for the wave picture and I'm gonna try to keep up on it again. Can't make any promises until after May, but we'll see how it goes!
So, I'll be working on the site over the next few weeks. It may be a little shoddy for a while with broken links and what not so just bare with me. I'm going back to a previous style and the home page will be like a blog with just random cool stuff. The surfboards may take the most time to get back up. I'm hoping to implement the filter system again where you can see only the size range, or brand you want.
If anyone has any requests of old features of the site you would like to see come back, email me at mike@psurf.com.Surf School Info and photos - BrigantineSurfSchool.com

Wednesday 5/13
4 Day Forecast Summary
Thursday: South winds 10-20 mph with higher gusts. Waves will build from 1 foot in the morning to 2-3 feet by late afternoon. Expect choppy conditions.
Friday: 10-20 mph south winds will make for poor conditions. Wave heights will average 2-4 feet.
Saturday: Light winds early will provide for semi-clean 2-3 foot waves. Winds will increase from the south by mid-morning.
Sunday: 15 mph south winds will go northwest by late morning and north in the afternoon. Thus conditions should improve through the day, but waves will only be knee to waist high.
Again, I apologize for the intermittency of these updates. Consistent updates will resume again next Wednesday. Currently high pressure is moving offshore and winds are responding by turning southeast. A warm front will lift north overnight tonight, which will help increase the southerly flow. Thursday will be breezy with tiny, but slowly building surf. As an area of low pressure moves to our north on Thursday night and Friday, a cold front will approach. This front will never make it through and thus the weather is expected to be unsettled through Saturday. The best window looks to be Saturday morning when winds are expected to be light and a short-period 2-3 foot swell will be in the water. A new front approaches Saturday evening to clear things out and so winds will increase again Saturday afternoon. Because the duration of these higher winds will be so short, nothing more than a waist high swell is anticipated for Sunday. High pressure will move in for the end of the weekend and into next week, keeping things rather calm.
insurfnews.com - TAHITI FREESURF MASH-UP So they didn't run the comp yesterday, but looks like they had a fun freesurf.
I'd say the stand-out surfer of the sessions is either Damo or Josh Kerr. I think what sets certain guys apart in barrel riding is the ability to make micro-adjustments in the tube. It really becomes apparent in tricky conditions like this. Adriano, Bobby M., Mick Fanning and Freddy P. look good too.
